Not at all. Privates are beginner-friendly and a great way to build confidence, learn technique, and move safely from day one.
-
Yes. Our instructors can personalize your session around your current needs and may focus on injury aware training, strength, mobility, alignment, and movement patterns that support your recovery or help reduce the risk of future injury.
However, FLO PILATES instructors are not medical providers and do not diagnose or treat injuries or medical conditions.
If you are currently injured, experiencing pain, or have been advised to seek medical care, we recommend consulting your physician or physical therapist before beginning or returning to exercise.
If you’ve been cleared for Pilates, let us know about any injuries, limitations, or recommendations from your healthcare provider so we can match you with the appropriate instructor and adapt your training accordingly.
-
Each instructor has different training, teaching styles, and private session specialties.
Visit our Instructor page to explore their backgrounds and specialties. If you’re unsure, our team can recommend the best fit based on your goals and needs.

-
You’ll train together with shared programming that’s adjusted as needed for each person. These formats are great for partners, friends, or family who want a private experience together.

Yes. We have instructors who specialize in prenatal and postpartum Pilates. We recommend selecting an instructor with this specialty and letting us know where you are in your pregnancy or postpartum journey before your first session. Medical clearance may be appropriate depending on your individual circumstances.
FAQ
-
Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid being charged/losing the session.
Private sessions will end at the originally scheduled time. If you arrive late, your session will not be extended, and the full session credit will still apply.
-
Private credit packs do not expire if unused.
That said, we strongly recommend completing your first 5 sessions within 3 months to keep progress consistent.
When sessions are spaced too far apart, it’s harder to build momentum, refine technique, and see lasting results.
-
Private packs are non-transferable. For duet/triplet/quads, packs are intended for the same group throughout the pack.
